Hubert Senters, here. I’ve been getting a lot of questions on what I think about the airlines. And in particular United Airlines. Would I go long, would I short it, or what would I do?
For me, I use the ichimoku cloud. So, this is the cloud right here. If you don’t much know about it, you can just google stuff on it. I like to use it, it’s a real good foundation for scanning.
So, here’s the synopsis for it. I’ll give you a real quick lesson on it.
Below the cloud, for more than 1 to 3 days, it will probably continue and go lower, a new down trend. Above the club, for 1, 2, or 3 days. Then it will probably fire off a new up trend and go substantially higher.
Right now, it’s in the cloud. So for me it’s a strict DO NOT TOUCH. Do not pass go, do not collect $200 dollars. For me, it’s a hands off right now for UAL. But if it was to close above the cloud and stay there for at least 3 days, I would give it a shot on the long side with a tight stop loss.
